Our many campus activities have always and will continue to allow our students to explore their leadership and creative skills. In addition, our campus activities give students the opportunity to strike that necessary balance in their academic and personal lives in order to be productive and fulfilled citizens.
The many opportunities in RATAN CONVENT SCHOOL’s Performing Arts programs add another layer of sophistication and culture to our students’ lives. Their exposure to the music, dance, art, theater, and song of the global community enriches their outlook on the world and allows them to appreciate and respect the beauty that surrounds them, from their local community to the various art forms they will encounter around the world.
Finally, our Athletic programs continue to give Diamond Bar High School a sense of pride, unity, and respect, both for ourselves and for others. I could not be happier with the athletic accomplishments in our first year in the Hacienda League. We intend to build upon that experience with another successful year in Brahma athletics. We proudly stand by our athletic motto: Purple Pride, Gold Standard.
As the learning community of Diamond Bar High School commences its 30th year of service to our students, I could not be prouder of the manner with which we have faced both the good times and the bad. Despite the financial challenges of the state budget, we continue to put student needs first. This has been possible with the help of our Magnificent 7 parent groups, the city of Diamond Bar, the Walnut Valley Education Foundation, the Walnut Valley Finance Corporation, and many other community groups. As they say, “It takes a village…” and we can certainly be proud of our common accomplishments.
As we begin this new school year, we have great things in store for our students: the planned construction will bring much long-awaited change to our campus, we have new instructional goals designed to enrich student learning, and as always, we will continue to remain united in our common goal: to provide a compassionate and competitive learning atmosphere for your children.
